Well, slope day is the other tradition next to Dragon Day. Slope Day occurs on the last day of classes, where about 75% of the students come out (around 9,000) and.....well.....drink. It's a great time to have fun with people, celebrate the end of classes, see people you haven't seen since last semester, and well......drink (if you're into that kind of thing :)
Second year Slope Day was ok, comparable to freshman year. I will put up more pictures when I get them developed.
My first year of Slope Day was unbelievable; I couldn't imagine so many people on the slope!!!! I did get locked out of my room, which sucked, and I felt like throwing up at dinner, which SUCKED even more. I was able to watch the movie Dark City after, which is a great movie that I recommend. Here are some pictures of SLOPE DAY '98:
This is actually the only picture I took myself of slope day.....I
ran out of film right after this one. It's of me and a chemistry
friend of mines, Branden Espinoza.
