Well, dragon day is just one of those special days at Cornell. It often falls on St. Patrick's Day, or the thursday before Spring Break The traditional dragon day started with the architects and their dragon. It's only been about 5 years since the engineers decided to mess around with the architects. It's a fun experience battling the architects, and trust me, it can get REALLY vicious (the fighting and whatnot). But then again, I skipped a whole week of classes to help out, and it was one of my best times there. Then again, the od were 25 engineers vs. 150 architects, so we did get beat. If you're an engineer and reading this, sheesh, help out next year!!!!!!!!! If you want to know more, go to http://dragonday.ml.org.
Ok, I must say, Dragon Day '99 SUCKED ASS.
Engineers did nothing, and the architect's dragon wasn't as good as last
year. I have decided not to do anything with it this year because
all the pictures that I have sucked. Oh well, C'est la vie.
Dragon Day '98
D-day cookout, even though is was snowing
Two Engineers' Castles
One of the castles when the dragon was approaching
Braveheart ripoff on one of the castles
Architects galore (notice the pimp)
More architects
Head of the dragon
Burning dragon's head
Burning
dragon yet again. (If you at the dragon day burning, lemme tell ya
it was a fun experience. Flames shot out into the crowds and there
was mass panic to get away from the dragon. The only funny thing
I remember was someone thinking they were on fire and screaming.)
