One of the masters of horror, Stephen King novels are still able to send chills through my spine.  He's a great writer, and I suggest that people read his novels.  My three favorite novels that I have read from him are Eyes of the Dragon,
Gerald's Game, and all six books of The Green Mile.

I think it was sort of a bastard thing to do, but the author decided to sell this book over the span of 1/2 year, and it only took me a night to read each goddamn book, so I was always waiting for the next book to come out.  This six part series dealt with the view of one prison guard officer, Paul Edgecombe, and his life at E block cell, where those who are placed in the electric chair.  The Green Mile is the last stretch of walk for those who sit in the electric chair.  Among one of the prisoners was a black man named John Coffey, and the powers that he was instilled with causes joy and pain to those around him..........
